HELPING PEOPLE GET COMFORTABLE FOR 40 YEARS
Reinholt’s Town Square Furniture is celebrating its 40th anniversary of doing business in Warsaw, Indiana! While that’s an incredible milestone, it only tells part of the family’s history.
Touting “Neighborly Service Since 1936,” this multigenerational family business got its humble beginnings when Don Reinholt purchased Glover Furniture in 1982, after selling his ownership in Knox Furniture Company, which his father-in-law, Bill Chizum, opened 86 years ago.
While the family’s furniture roots run deep, so does their love for Warsaw and their community. Don Reinholt felt the Lord led his family to Warsaw, where he and Carla, his wife of 63 years, raised their three sons. They now have ten grandchildren and one more on the way!
Sons Keith and Brent Reinholt have both been an integral part of the business’ longevity, and it’s no coincidence that at the same time the business celebrates, Keith is also celebrating 40 years of serving customers at the store!
Many people would start losing steam after that long, but Keith truly gets joy and energy from helping people and creating relationships. Through the years, his greatest memories come from the customers he calls friends. He’s also appreciative of the people he has been blessed to work with during these 40 years.
Brent’s involvement in the family business began while he was in high school. He got his start delivering furniture, and fondly remembers seeing customers react to their new furniture inside their home. These days, it’s his role to make sure the whole customer experience exceeds expectations – from the moment they walk in the door to years after their purchase.
Reinholt’s Town Square Furniture is now in their fourth generation, with three of Brent’s sons and a daughter-in-law continuing the legacy. Brent explains, “They truly are the future of the business. They can not only relate to their generation, but can look back at the experience of three generations. Just as dad had the privilege of passing down what he had learned over the years, we have been able to do the same. This has really helped to re-energize the things we do every day.”
The Reinholt family likes to stay active in their community by sponsoring or coaching Little League, peewee football, Upward Basketball and other teams. In Don’s 13 years of coaching, his team won the championship 12 times!
Keith has demonstrated his passion for Warsaw by starting First Fridays downtown, creating a local Body for Life fitness community, and being a long-time board member of Baker Youth Club.
Reinholt’s Town Square Furniture takes pride in being easy to work with, aiming to save their customers time, money, and effort. They have a huge selection in their showroom with enough extra stock in their warehouses to refill the store four more times!
In addition to offering convenience, Reinholt’s also offers free delivery on quality brands like La-Z-Boy, Tempur-Pedic, Sealy, Smith Brothers of Berne, Bassett, and many more!
Reinholt’s is located at 118 W. Main Street in downtown Warsaw, just across the street from the courthouse. They are open Monday – Saturday from 8:30 am until 5:30 pm. Friday nights they stay open until 8:00 pm.
